What We Discuss In This Episode:

Waleuska discusses her transition into a new country and how everything changed for her family when, coming from wealth and purpose, things suddenly changed and spiraled downward to leaving on food stamps and living a more "depressed" lifestyle.

Waleuska vulnerably shares how at one point, she became totally disconnected from herself and felt she had no purposes - because things were not as she wanted them to be or expected them to be. She lived through a toxic relationship that, for a long time, she just accepted. She became sick physically and emotionally and suffered a great deal during this period of time.

As women, we often go down that rabbit hole of “what if” or “I’m not good enough because…” but through that type of downward spiral, Waleuska found that just brought more stress, more negativity, sickness, and distress. She searched for answers to the questions of what was her true purpose after having spiraled so far down, she found finding herself searching for the pot of gold through others, she finally had a revelation of who she was. She started on an upward track from that point on – essentially – dying to self and rebirthing with gratitude and love. She shares how it’s not enough to be grateful for what is good, but also for the not-so-good things.

With some new-found habits and a renewed sense of her purpose in life, she began a process to heal her life from the inside out. She was suffering physically and mentally, but when she aligned herself with her divine purpose, things changed for the better – pre-ordained and divined.

At the point of recharged, she realized her pain had gone, she felt emotionally healthy, and realized living in the moment and searching within had totally changed her outlook and her life for the better. She takes time now just for being. It fuels in her as her life as an author, doer, and coach.

She is fully aware of the signals in her body that when she feels them, she knows she needs to listen to her body to bring about that health and well-being we want to walk in. Talking time to herself. Recharging.

Her tips for us is – before you start your day, even before you take your feet out of bed - put your hand on your heart, so you can be aware and concentrate as you give gratitude for your life. Give full gratitude for all that is going on in your life.  In that way, you start your day off right, feel love and appreciation – and the best part - the cumulative effect will change your life.
